Troy has also developed classes specifically for Law Enforcement and Animal Control officers.  These stress the importance of understanding why a dog behaves the way it does and how a humans behavior can effect how a dog reacts to them.  These classes currently count for POST continuing education credits in Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Courses include classes just for patrol officers as well as SWAT/SRT teams.

Troy is also the author of Management of Aggressive Canines for Law Enforcement, a handbook to assist those in law enforcement in dealing with dogs in a safe and effective manner.

Along with classes for law enforcement and animal control, Troy also provides classes to first responders, parcel delivery, and utility provider workers. He also is regularly called to evaluate dogs and testify in court regarding canine behavior when involving a bite incident.

Troy also is a certified by PPCT as an instructor/trainer in Defensive Tactics and is an instructor in Spontaneous Knife Defense providing classes to law enforcement several times a year.
